Maintenance Services
Function Power Systems offers maintenance services for Generac® Guardian® & series aircooled generators in sizes ranging 7~20kw.
All services are subject to a travel charge of 10$ if 40+ miles from Albany , NY (12205)
All of our techs are Generac® certified technicians.

Basic “Annual” Service :
Inspection & cleaning of units interior/exterior.
Checking & logging of system faults & exerciser resetting.
Battery load testing to ensure battery life & capacity. (replacement additional charge)
Verify battery charger operation.
Replacement of pre-filter, air-filter , oil and oil filter & spark plug(s).
Verify & adjust generator output voltage and frequency.
Testing of transfer switch operation. (optional)
If any repairs are required after inspection , there will be an extra charge for required parts & labor.
Price: 100$ + tax.

Exerciser Resetting :
This service would be used if your generator has reset or needs another exerciser time that is convenient to the owner.
We will come to your location at the time you would like the unit to exercise and we will set the system for the unit to run at that time & day every week. It’s that simple & an easy call or e-mail away.
We also offer optional & free services while we are at your unit; these include:

Battery load testing to ensure battery life & capacity. (replacement additional charge)
Verify battery charger operation.
Price : 25$ +tax .

Battery Replacement :
After the battery has been verified bad from load testing or owners request , we offer a replacement.
Replacement batteries will be of:
The correct series “26″ form factor
The correct Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) as per Generac® spec
We will offer and execute provided manufacturer warranty

Repair work :
If a repair needs to be made and does not qualify for warranty work. Our techs will complete the job with only genuine Generac® Guardian® parts. All repair work follows these points.
On-site labor rate : $50/Hr.
Travel charge of 10$ applies if 40+miles from Albany , NY
Customer assumes parts & labor costs.
